Nina Rose is the CEO and Founder of The Southern Sparkle. She is a seasoned writer, foodie & publicist residing in the Queen City, always searching for the sparkle in the South. As a Charlotte native, Nina has lived in the South her entire life (except for a brief time in Spain). In her 20s, she moved to Charleston, SC to sharpen her communications skills with a master’s degree at the College of Charleston and was profoundly influenced by the southern hospitality along with her strong relationships with restauranteurs, and the art of bringing people together. She launched legendary hot spots including The Cocktail Club, Caviar & Bananas, and The MacIntosh, curated bios for southern influencers like Chef Jeremiah Bacon from Oak Steakhouse, and worked at Husk Restaurant, when it was named the Best Restaurant in America by Southern Living Magazine.
